Thanks Rob. You shared a lot of wisdom in this one. I have learned to keep my mouth shut when it comes to gossip. It has caused some problems over the years. I also remember growing up and being the victim of gossip that wasn't true so I know how damaging and hurtful it can be.
Thanks Jeannette K! Yes... it can be difficult not to get pulled into gossip. Gossip can destroy an innocent person's reputation and life. I remember years ago hearing some lady accuse another nice lady of being a "lesbian" just because she didn't have a boyfriend and wasn't doing the dirty with someone every night. I came uncorked on this gal and told her she had no right to accuse someone of something like that behind their back and without the person there to defend themselves. It shut her right up. That's just one example of how someone's entire life can be ruined by someone else's assumption. I want no part of it. Thanks again for your comment. :)
